Blackmagic took the sensor from their 12K body and put it into their PYXIS body. Now you can choose the PYXIS model with 6k or 12k sensor. This new model costs $5500 USD and seems to be a bargain. This should also put some price pressure on previous Blackmagic used cameras which are still great.
I don't know how long the Blackmagic Design folks are going to stay Golden, but they're my favorite video camera company by far.
