STMicroelectronics CMOS Sensors have the unique ability to let the user switch between global and rolling shutter. This is great because you can choose between reduce skew and movement distortion or maximising dynamic range and low light capabilities. We hope this comes to fruition and eventually results in more sensor makers adopting this approach.
