With Apple Watch Series 8 just being released we don't expect to get any substantial leaks for months. Nonetheless we like to start the threads early and collect every piece of data and rumor that we can.

Here are some of the things that we expect may come to the Series 9 of the Apple Watches:
  • S9 SiP advanced dual-core processor
  • Improved Dual frequency precise GPS like in the Ultra
  • Bluetooth 5.3
  • Improved screen with better brightness
  • 5G Connectivity
  • Improved WiFi
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Improved V02 measurement capabilities
  • Improved battery life
 
There will be two Apple Watch Series 9 watches and a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra this year, according to Mark Gurman.

We're finally getting a new chip, the S9 (based on A15 chip technology). The real question is how much will this improve battery life.
