We're seeing from multiple sources that there is a focus on improving the telephoto lens on the iPhone 16 Pro. This is appears to be either to make it smaller and thinner and/or to increase the amount of optical zoom. Let's hope this update actually makes it into the iPhone 16 pro and is not delayed until the 17.
5x optical zoom was certainly a nice addition, but when it's half as much optical zoom as the main Android competitor you can't help but feel a bit let down.

The iPhone 16 line has been announced. There are the standard 4 new models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. There were rumors about an iPhone 16 Ultra but this has not come about.
