Samsung has been making good phones for a long time. Really, Apple and Samsung are the leaders of the pack. Some years Apple just felt better, more stable, and more functional and other years Samsung had the hype and new features. This goes back and forth depending on the year. Your operating system preference dictated your phone choice usually. Rarely did a phone from the competitors operating system make people abandon their current operating system. Some people are claiming that the Samsung S24 Ultra is one of those phones that will bring people over to Android. Why is that?
Yes, it's a great phone. Yes they improved over last year. Yes it has AI. We are impressed about its class leading battery life. The cameras are one of the best. It's great for gaming and perhaps even better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max in this category. It has a pen included. So really, it's just the best phone of the moment. If you're on the Android ecosystem and overdue for a new phone and can afford the $1300 price tag then the choice is easy. But if you own an iPhone 15 Plus or 15 Pro Max should you jump over? Probably not. The iPhone 16 will hit back, and then Samsung will hit back again, and on and on we go. Just wait and you'll be fine. Still, competition is healthy and good and this phone looks great.
