Lenovo Legion Go 2

Lenovo’s Legion Go 2 is looking pretty damn good as a handheld gaming device.  Let’s start with the screen: 8.8-inch, 1600p, 144hz, OLED, and VRR.  What more could you want?

It uses the new and excellent AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme mobile CPU, features 32gb of of 7500MHz LPDDR5X RAM, various storage size options, and a larger battery.  Unless you want something smaller and more portable, we expect this device to be a hit.

Unfortunately it seems like this device will come later in the year than the Lenovo Legion Go S which will likely ship in May.

Legion Go S

Lenovo has shown us their Legion Go S featuring an 8-inch display, Ryzen Z2 Go processor, and 512GB storage.  Priced at $499 for the Steam OS version and $599 for the Windows 11 version, this appears to be a promising handheld as long as its somewhat less powerful (but efficient) processor meets all of your gaming needs.

It is true that the Legion Go has better specifications but that makes sense as the S version is the lite version.
